Silver Oak-backed CCS Facility Services acquired Alabama Cleaning Service, deepening Southeast density in a fragmented $100 billion janitorial market drawing steady private equity interest.

CCS Facility Services, a portfolio company of private equity firm Silver Oak Services Partners, has acquired Alabama Cleaning Service, a Decatur-based commercial cleaning provider. The deal adds to CCS's growing footprint across the Southeast and signals continued consolidation in a janitorial services market still dominated by independent regional operators.
Rather than folding ACS into a corporate structure, CCS kept its regional leader, Mac Hennessy, on as Regional Vice President for the Southeast. The move reflects a common playbook among facility services acquirers: buy density, keep the people who built the customer relationships, and layer on national infrastructure.
For franchise and multi-unit operators evaluating janitorial and facility-services deals, the CCS-ACS transaction underscores a clear thesis. Buyers are prioritizing geographic density over standalone acquisitions, betting that regional clustering drives service consistency and stronger margins on multi-site commercial contracts.
CCS's move follows a string of similar plays this year, including Boyne Capital's launch of a competing commercial cleaning platform. With the U.S. janitorial market estimated near $100 billion and still highly fragmented, private equity interest in facility services shows no sign of slowing through the back half of 2026.
