Hudson Hill Capital has closed a single-asset continuation vehicle for InXpress, the global logistics franchise, with Barings Capital Management and Ardlussa Capital leading the new investment. The deal lets Hudson Hill keep its stake in the company while giving earlier investors a choice: cash out now or roll their money into the next phase of growth.

Why a Continuation Vehicle Matters Here

A continuation vehicle moves a portfolio company into a new fund structure without a full sale, buying the private equity owner more time to grow the business. For InXpress, that means Hudson Hill avoids a forced exit just as the logistics franchisor is compounding gains, with system revenue up nearly 200 percent since the 2020 buyout.

A Franchise Network Built on Freight

InXpress connects small and midsize businesses with parcel and freight carriers, including DHL, UPS and FedEx, through roughly 450 franchises spanning 14 countries and more than 46,000 customers. Barings called it the last independent, globally operated franchise-led company in its category, a distinction that made the continuation deal attractive to new backers.

What It Signals for Franchisees

Fresh capital typically funds carrier relationships, technology and sales enablement, the tools individual franchise owners lean on to win local accounts. For InXpress operators, continuity of ownership paired with new investor backing points to steady support rather than the disruption a full sale can bring.
