The mobile pet grooming franchise launched a client engagement app and a dedicated franchisee portal built with Pet Connect Business.

Kontota, a mobile pet grooming franchise based in Frisco, Texas, has launched a nationwide client engagement platform built with Pet Connect Business. The app gives every franchise owner a branded tool for scheduling reminders, promotions and pet care content, alongside a separate franchisee portal for training materials and corporate communication.
Mobile grooming franchises face a challenge that fixed-location brands do not: there is no storefront reinforcing the brand between visits. A centralized communication hub lets Kontota standardize how every franchise owner talks to clients before and after appointments, which matters more in a mobile model where the relationship depends entirely on scheduled touchpoints rather than walk-in traffic.
Pet Connect Business, part of the App Beacon family, handles the app's technical infrastructure, including app store publishing, maintenance and compliance. That arrangement lets Kontota offer enterprise-level technology without asking individual franchise owners to manage software vendors themselves, a cost and complexity most single-unit operators are not equipped to take on alone.
Pet care franchising has drawn heavy investment activity this year, and technology is becoming one of the ways established brands differentiate from new entrants chasing the same demand. For prospective Kontota franchisees, the platform is as much a recruiting pitch as an operational upgrade: proof that corporate is investing in tools rather than leaving owners to solve customer communication on their own.
