Liftology, a home accessibility franchise that sells and installs stairlifts, ramps, residential elevators and patient lifts, announced its national franchise rollout Oct. 13. Founder and CEO David Pazgan previously co-founded what the company calls the first national mobility franchise, which grew to about 100 locations and more than $100 million in systemwide revenue.

Initial territories are in Little Rock, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Kansas City, St. Louis, Charlotte, Philadelphia and Houston. Investment figures were not published.

One line stands out a week after the FTC's settlement over semi-absentee pitches at Premier Martial Arts. “Liftology was never designed for passive ownership,” said co-founder Gordon Raney.
