Franchise TimesPremium Service Brands Adds Wise Coatings as 10th Brand
The home services franchisor's latest acquisition gives Wise Coatings' 23 franchisees access to a referral network spanning 1,200 operators.
The home services franchisor adds a floor coatings brand, widening a portfolio strategy built to sell more services to the same homeowners.

Premium Service Brands has acquired Wise Coatings, a floor coatings franchise with about 22 locations across 20 states. The deal folds a new service line into PSB's home services portfolio. It also hands Wise Coatings franchisees a larger support platform.
PSB already runs brands in painting, handyman work, garage doors, cleaning, junk removal, and holiday lighting. Adding floor coatings lets the company sell more jobs to a homeowner it already serves, which lowers customer acquisition cost across the group. Each new category gives a customer one more reason to come back.
Wise Coatings franchisees gain PSB's marketing, technology, and development resources, which a smaller franchisor cannot match alone. PSB says it will invest in franchise development and national expansion for the brand. The tradeoff is that operators now sit inside a larger system with shared standards and cross-brand priorities.
PSB calls Wise Coatings part of a connected home services ecosystem, which is roll-up language. Expect the company to keep acquiring complementary categories that plug into the same customer base. For operators across the platform, consolidation means more referral flow but also more competition for headquarters attention.
