Solvane acquired the assets of RestoreMasters Contracting, a national roofing and storm-restoration contractor, and folded it into a platform that now runs sixteen home-services brands as one system. The company calls itself an intellectual-property holding firm and operator-acquisition platform, not a traditional franchisor. That distinction shapes how the deal creates value.

A Platform, Not a Franchise System

Solvane buys established operators, consolidates their brand intellectual property, and runs shared marketing, technology, and back-office support beneath them. RestoreMasters joins earlier pickups including Evolve Construction & Restoration, Master Plumber, and ClearAir Environmental Testing. The model resembles a franchisor's central support function without selling franchises to third parties.

Why RestoreMasters Fits

RestoreMasters brings roofing, water mitigation, mold remediation, and large-loss restoration, plus recognition as a three-time Top 100 roofing contractor and six-time Inc. 5000 honoree. Storm-restoration work is high-ticket and insurance-funded, which pairs well with the centralized lead generation and staffing Solvane already operates across its portfolio.

What Operators Should Watch

Consolidation platforms like this compete with franchising for the same operators. An owner weighing a franchise agreement now has an alternative: sell the business, keep running it, and gain shared infrastructure without paying ongoing royalties. If Solvane's model scales, home-services franchisors will face pressure to prove their support justifies the royalty.
