Voda Cleaning & Restoration Hits 300 Franchise Territories

The three-year-old brand tripled its footprint since mid-2024, and its parent, Franchise Playbook, plans to apply the same model to new home service brands.

Voda Cleaning & Restoration awarded its 300th franchise territory this week, three years after launching national franchising in 2023. The Madison, Wisconsin brand now counts 118 franchise owners across 35 states, tripling its footprint since crossing 100 territories in mid-2024.

Why The Pace Matters

Voda is the flagship brand of Franchise Playbook, a platform built to scale residential and commercial service brands rather than run a single concept. Hitting 300 territories in three years gives leadership a proof point to use while it courts franchisees for whatever category comes next, and it validates the systems Franchise Playbook built specifically to be reused.

One Brand, Bigger Ambitions

Franchise Playbook has said it plans to launch and develop additional service brands using the same training, technology, marketing and analytics infrastructure built for Voda. For operators watching from outside cleaning and restoration, that is a signal the company wants proof its systems travel before it commits capital to a second concept, rather than assuming success in one category guarantees success in another.

What Franchisees Are Buying Into

Voda's core services span water damage restoration, fire and smoke cleanup, mold remediation, storm restoration, and general residential and commercial cleaning, an essential-services mix that tends to hold up in demand even when housing turnover slows. The brand has also landed on Entrepreneur's Franchise 500 and its fastest-growing and emerging-franchise lists in both 2025 and 2026, giving prospective operators third-party validation to weigh against a system that is still just three years old. With 118 owners holding all 300 territories awarded so far, the average franchisee already controls more than two and a half territories, meaning Voda's next stretch of growth leans as much on satisfying existing owners as on recruiting new ones.
