The Saladworks and Frutta Bowls parent is cutting franchise fees and royalties through 2027 to reward operators who commit to multiple locations.

WOWorks, the St. Petersburg-based parent of Saladworks, Frutta Bowls, Garbanzo Mediterranean Fresh, and three other fast-casual brands, has launched a three-tier incentive program to speed up franchise development. The program runs through the first quarter of 2027 and scales the discount to the size of an operator's commitment.
Operators signing for one or two units get half off their franchise fee at signing and a 50 percent royalty cut for six months. Commit to three to five locations and that royalty break stretches to a full year. Operators willing to develop six or more restaurants pay a net $0 franchise fee on their first three locations, since the reduced fee is fully refunded.
The incentive program pairs with WOWorks' existing co-branding strategy, letting operators mix concepts, such as housing a Saladworks and a Garbanzo Mediterranean Fresh in one footprint. That structure lets a single location share labor and rent across two brands and two dayparts without paying a second franchise fee, which lowers the real cost of the large-owner tier even further.
WOWorks has opened 23 restaurants this year with 15 more in development, putting the platform close to 240 locations and on pace for roughly 40 openings by year-end. Aggressive fee relief for multi-unit commitments is a sign the company wants existing operators, not just new franchisees, to carry that growth, since scaling through proven operators is faster and cheaper than recruiting from scratch.
