Bodybar Pilates is extending into new markets across Texas and the East Coast as it works toward 30 studio openings this year. The Fort Worth-based reformer Pilates brand now operates 86 studios nationwide, with a three-studio development agreement in San Antonio, an upcoming debut in New Hampshire, and a second North Carolina location on the way, part of a broader push into markets it has never served before.

First-Time Owners Take San Antonio

First-time franchise owners Laurie and Eric Falcon signed to open three Bodybar studios in San Antonio's Alamo Heights, Stone Oak, and La Cantera neighborhoods, with the first location opening in spring 2027. CEO Matt McCollum called San Antonio one of the fastest-growing metro regions in Texas and a market the brand has wanted a presence in, underscoring how quickly Bodybar is willing to back operators with no prior fitness-industry experience.

New England and the Carolinas Next

Bodybar is set to open its first New Hampshire studio in Exeter on August 10, owned by former BMX rider Aaron Smith, followed by a second North Carolina location in North Raleigh on August 31 under former health care executive Jaye Johnston. Both operators plan to add further locations once their first studios are up and running, a pattern the brand is actively encouraging across its newer markets.

Momentum Behind the Growth

The brand landed on Entrepreneur's 2026 Franchise 500 and the 2025 Inc. 5000 after reporting 567% growth over three years, credentials that continue to draw multi-unit operators and first-time franchise buyers alike into the increasingly crowded reformer Pilates category, where studio counts nationwide have climbed sharply over the past two years.
