BrightStar CareBrightStar Care Names Josh Wall Chief Executive
Josh Wall, a two-decade franchise development executive, takes over as CEO of the 420-plus-unit home care franchisor BrightStar Care.
Waheed, who spent more than six years as Neighborly's technology chief, will run the scheduling, caregiver engagement and field operations platforms behind BrightStar's 420-plus franchised locations.

The executive who led Neighborly's consumer booking app is now running technology for a home care franchisor.
BrightStar Care named Amer Waheed chief technology officer on Oct. 27. Waheed spent more than six years as CTO at Neighborly and most recently held the same title at Fuze Health. At BrightStar he will modernize the platforms for scheduling, caregiver and client engagement, and field operations, the company said.
The Chicago-based franchisor, owned by Peak Rock Capital, has more than 420 franchised locations. The hire follows CEO Josh Wall's arrival in July and echoes another senior care franchisor reaching outside its category for operating talent: earlier this month HomeWell hired a Sylvan veteran to run franchise operations.
