In 2016, Eb Moore picked Jodi Tate to open ERA Live Moore's Winston-Salem office. Ten years later, the brokerage has bought the company she left to build.

ERA Live Moore, a Carolinas ERA franchisee, said Oct. 27 that it acquired Blue Door Group Real Estate, which Tate founded in 2020 with the Moores' support. Terms were not disclosed, the Winston-Salem Journal reported. Blue Door keeps its name as an ERA Live Moore company, and Tate will build a builder services line for the larger firm. The company said she sold after recognizing the challenges of running a small firm.

ERA Live Moore has 13 offices and more than 600 real estate professionals, per the Journal. The deal fits a steady pattern of brokerages consolidating under franchise flags.
