RISMediaKeller Williams Buys 1,200-Agent Jason Mitchell Group
Keller Williams is acquiring 1,200-agent Jason Mitchell Group, the latest brokerage consolidation as mega-franchisors race to control agents, technology and mortgage relationships.
Marti Realty Group joins Keller Williams' network, bringing two proprietary tech platforms built for new-construction buyers to franchise agents nationwide.

San Antonio brokerage Marti Realty Group has joined the Keller Williams franchise network, affiliating with KW City-View in its home market. The deal hands Keller Williams two proprietary technology platforms built by the brokerage's founders, adding real product to a franchise system built mostly on brand and training.
Chris and Meredith Marti launched their firm in 2017, then built New Home Buddy in 2025 after noticing that Zillow and the MLS could not filter listings for new-construction-specific details like to-be-built floor plans or builder incentives. They followed it with Numouve, a fintech tool that lets buyers borrow against a future home sale to make cash offers on new construction.
Keller Williams is the largest real estate franchise in the world by agent count, and folding in Marti Realty Group gives it a path to license New Home Buddy and Numouve across its broader agent base rather than building similar tools in-house. For franchisees, that means a packaged tech advantage in the new-construction segment without the research and development spend.
The move fits a pattern of large franchise brokerages acquiring or affiliating with smaller shops that have built defensible technology, rather than competing purely on recruiting. For KW franchise owners, the near-term test is adoption, whether agents outside Texas actually pick up tools built for one metro's new-construction market once they roll out beyond Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio.
