PuroSystems is franchising AccuGuard Environmental, a mobile lab that delivers onsite asbestos and lead results in place of the traditional weeks-long lab cycle.

PuroSystems, the parent company of PuroClean, has launched AccuGuard Environmental as a standalone franchise, betting that restoration and insurance claims move faster when testing happens on the jobsite instead of at an offsite lab. The brand reports average unit gross revenue of $550,783 and an 86% unit gross profit margin, built on a home-based, low-staff operating model.
Traditional asbestos and lead testing sends samples to a brick-and-mortar lab and leaves contractors waiting on results before restoration or construction work can proceed. AccuGuard's Mobile Lab performs testing and analysis onsite, a change the company says shortens the gap between sample collection and the next phase of a restoration project, directly speeding up insurance claims processing.
Franchise owners operate AccuGuard without a physical location, hiring one trained analyst to handle field testing while they focus on business development. The brand targets four to five jobs daily with a 10 to 14 day payment cycle, a structure aimed at candidates with backgrounds in restoration, environmental services, or other home-service industries looking to diversify.
AccuGuard sits at the intersection of two industries that rarely move at the same speed: restoration contractors need fast answers, while environmental testing has historically operated on lab timelines untouched by a decade of restoration-industry innovation. A B2B model that shortens that gap gives multi-unit restoration operators a new lever for cutting claim cycle times and winning insurance-carrier relationships.
