The OEM-certified collision repair consolidator strengthens its Northern California presence with its latest acquisition, expanding a 100-plus-location national network.

Quality Collision Group has acquired Tracy Collision, a certified repair facility in Tracy, California, adding another shop to its growing national network of OEM-focused collision centers. The deal deepens QCG's presence in Northern California as the consolidator continues rolling up independent, manufacturer-certified repair shops.
Tracy Collision holds manufacturer certifications across Audi, Ford, Honda, Acura, Hyundai, Jaguar Land Rover, Porsche and Subaru programs, credentials that matter increasingly as insurers and automakers push repairs toward OEM-approved facilities. QCG, which operates more than 100 locations across 13 states, said the shop's certification lineup and reputation made it a natural fit.
Collision repair has become a consolidation target for the same reason as other fragmented trades: independent operators face rising equipment and training costs to keep pace with OEM certification requirements, while platforms like QCG can spread that investment across a larger network. For multi-shop operators weighing a sale, certification credentials are increasingly the asset buyers are paying for.
Tracy Collision's owners, Armin and Lori Ghorbani, will hand day-to-day operations to QCG while the shop keeps its existing team in place, a structure common across the collision repair roll-up wave. QCG said it plans to keep expanding across Northern California as it builds out its national certified-repair footprint.
