The 16.3 million pound majority investment hands a UK mobile repair franchise growth capital, a new chair, and a founder-led path to scale.

Mobeus Equity Partners completed a 16.3 million pound majority investment in Revive! Auto Innovations, one of the United Kingdom's largest mobile SMART repair franchises. Founded in 2004, Revive! grew from a single van into a network of more than 55 franchisees and over 250 technicians. Co-founder Mark Llewellyn and the management team stay on, while co-founder Terry Mullen retires.
Mobeus called out Revive!'s technology platform and franchise network as the reasons for its conviction. That framing matters. The investment is priced on a repeatable system that recruits, trains, and supplies operators, not on the founders' hustle. When a private equity firm pays up for the platform, it is validating the franchise model itself as the asset.
Mobeus installed Haydn Mursell, former chief executive of Kier Group, as non-executive chair for his experience scaling field-based, mobile workforce businesses. That is a specific hire. Revive!'s challenge is not demand, with the average car on UK roads getting older, but coordinating a distributed technician workforce across dozens of franchise territories. The board is being built for logistics, not marketing.
Automotive aftercare is drawing capital on both sides of the Atlantic, from Monomoy's $1.3 billion Jiffy Lube purchase to this deal. The common thread is aging vehicles and fragmented local repair. For franchisors, founder-led sales to private equity are becoming a standard liquidity path, and the buyers increasingly want a clean technology and training stack before they write the check.
