The Unleashed Brands concept opened its first franchised location in Texas, kicking off a 54-unit pipeline spanning 16 states.

Water Wings Swim School opened its first franchised location in Cypress, Texas on September 5, just over a year after the brand launched its national franchise program. The debut moves the youth enrichment concept from a single-owner operation into a multi-state rollout backed by parent company Unleashed Brands.
Water Wings has already awarded 54 franchise units across 16 states, with six schools expected to open in 2026 and another 25 to 30 planned for 2027. Two five-unit development agreements covering New York and New Jersey show operators committing to multiple locations before a single one has proven itself in a new market.
The Cypress location's owners, Arun and Kay Singh, already run Urban Air Adventure Park franchises, and Unleashed Brands is positioning Water Wings as a natural add-on for operators already inside its portfolio. That cross-sell strategy shortens the sales cycle for the franchisor and gives multi-brand operators a way to diversify without learning an unfamiliar industry from scratch.
Existing schools average about 900 enrolled students with a 95 percent curriculum success rate and 14-month average tenure, metrics that give prospective franchisees a clearer picture of unit economics than a brand-new concept typically offers. With a goal of 100 to 150 locations over three to five years, Water Wings is treating this first opening as proof of concept rather than a finish line.
