The real estate franchise plants its Middle East headquarters in Dubai, betting on one of the world's fastest-growing property markets.

Century 21 launched its brand in the United Arab Emirates, opening a first Dubai office that doubles as the regional headquarters for the Middle East. The location starts with 30 affiliated agents and sits inside a network the brand says spans 80 countries and 11,000 offices.
Dubai property transactions surged 31 percent to AED 252 billion in the first quarter of 2026, and the emirate's population has climbed from 2.65 million in 2016 to more than four million today. Those numbers explain the timing. A franchise built on global recognition gains the most where international buyers and cross-border deals dominate, and Dubai's diverse buyer base fits that profile.
Peter Matthews, Group CEO of Century 21 UAE and India, leads the operation, with Alex Pearson running the Dubai office across the off-plan and secondary markets. The launch draws on Century 21 Australasia, whose chairman Charles Tarbey has built one of the brand's strongest regional networks. That hand-off of operating playbooks is how the franchise enters new markets without starting from zero.
The move shows brand recognition still travels across borders when local expertise carries it. Century 21 is also using the UAE as a stepping stone toward India, so operators watching international growth should note the regional-headquarters model: establish a hub, staff it with seasoned leaders, then scale outward.
