The Houston home health and hospice provider is opening its 18-year-old care model to franchisees as it looks to expand beyond Texas.
The US childcare franchisor is buying one of the UK's largest nursery networks, adding transatlantic scale and its CORE technology platform to the model.

The Learning Experience has acquired Banana Moon Day Nursery, one of the UK's most established early years franchises, marking the US childcare franchisor's largest move yet into the British market. Banana Moon keeps its name, its roughly two-decade history and its existing leadership, but gains access to TLE's operating infrastructure.
TLE now runs close to 500 US nurseries with another 300 in development, and the Banana Moon deal extends that footprint across the Atlantic at a moment when UK government-funded childcare expansion is pushing demand for licensed early years places. For operators watching the sector, it signals that scale is becoming the deciding factor in a historically fragmented category.
Banana Moon owners gain access to CORE, TLE's technology platform, which adds real-time dashboards, AI-supported coaching and predictive analytics across attendance, billing and family communications. Those are operational functions many single-country nursery franchisors can't build on their own, and they typically translate into lower administrative overhead per location.
TLE structured the deal to preserve Banana Moon's brand, leadership and franchisee relationships rather than absorbing the network into its own name, a pattern increasingly common in cross-border franchise M&A. For multi-unit operators evaluating acquisition offers, it's a reminder that buyers will pay for goodwill and local trust as much as for unit count.
