The Australian strength and conditioning brand enters the U.S. through Florida, betting low attrition can win in a crowded boutique fitness market.
PuroSystems is franchising AccuGuard Environmental, a mobile asbestos and lead testing concept built by one of PuroClean's top ten operators.

PuroSystems, the parent of the 500-plus office PuroClean restoration network, has launched AccuGuard Environmental, a franchise built around a truck-mounted lab that tests for asbestos and lead on the job site. The concept came from Ben Doebler, a four-location PuroClean owner whom CEO Mark Davis ranks among the network's top ten operators.
Restoration crews often cannot touch drywall or contents until regulated materials are cleared. Doebler built AccuGuard after paying a $600 invoice and waiting two days for results on a single job, a delay that stalls crews, frustrates adjusters and drags out claim cycles. The Mobile Lab promises same-day answers, plus mold sampling and fire and smoke protocols.
Most emerging brands come from founders outside the system. AccuGuard came from inside it, and PuroSystems backed the idea because it already had a decade of performance data on the operator. That lowers concept risk in a way a pitch deck cannot. Franchisors with strong advisory councils are sitting on similar ideas from operators who see the same friction every week.
AccuGuard is a home-based B2B model selling to restoration contractors, insurers and property owners. Sharing a parent with a 500-office restoration network gives new owners a ready referral channel, though buyers should press for detail on how that relationship is structured and whether PuroClean offices are required or simply encouraged to use the service.
Prospects should dig into lab certification requirements, equipment cost per truck, turnaround commitments and how pricing compares with the off-site labs AccuGuard aims to displace. Existing restoration owners should also weigh whether bringing testing in-house through a sister brand fits their own margins.
